go

and

tell

That’s the word for 2025. In Genesis 1:2, the Bible says “….And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” The New Testament equivalent of that word “hovering” is found in Luke 1:35 in response to Mary’s question, “How will this be…?” The Bible says, “And the Angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you…” Overshadow is the New Testament equivalent of the Old Testament word hovering.

I think this is significant because God is moving in response to His creation and a question. He’s moving in response to real time darkness and disorientation. He’s moving at the Genesis of all creation and the Genesis becoming flesh. He’s hovering, overshadowing, incubating something that’s never come forth before and then all of a sudden LIGHT…Jesus.

In 2024 we stayed and waited, just like He told us. In 2025 we will go and tell because He’s been incubating something. He’s been moving in response to His creation staying and waiting and praying. He’s been moving in the darkness and disorientation around downtown Sebring. Now, LIGHT will come forth. Now, LIGHT will be proclaimed. Now, LIGHT will be manifested in salvation, deliverance, healing, signs and wonders, and discipleship. That LIGHT is Jesus. We will preach Him and demonstrate His goodness. We will raise up a house of prayer that worships Him and seeks Him for revival in our city.

“But go, tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you to Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.” (Mark 16:7)

“And He answered them, Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them. And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” (Luke 7:22)

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation.”
